About us!
I'm DJ mw and this is my shooting match. I now find myself as good as 30 years old but this love affair started more than half my life ago. I was at Stanway School in Colchester, Essex about 93' when some of the cooler dudes started playing these tapes. Being an aspiring dude I tried to get on board but I just could not get my head round this dark, other worldly jungle music that was so far removed from anything I had ever known. But it gets under your skin you know and it wasn't long before the reasons I couldn't get it were the reasons I couldn't get away from it. Decks at 18, DJ'ing out soon after. Anywhere from dining tables at house parties to balconies at Oscars I would play. After years of doing this without the balls or inclination to really push it I got a computer and some software and started creating this beautiful bastard music. So here we are; please check out some of the bits I have made with my idiot friends: they're ok, I love them like children, there's many more to come and they keep getting better - I'm inspired.
